Hello everyone who still watches me after two years of in activeness.

I decided today that I want to start drawing like I used to again. I want to pull out a little sketch and doodle everyday, no matter how it looks, no matter how much better I could have done, I will not throw it in the trash. I realized that what progressed me in art over the years was sketches. Those dumb little drawings I would make everyday for my amusement and for the amusement of my friends.

Back then, I had a drive to just draw, but now I'm caught up in being ashamed of my own shadow. For two years I've been constantly critique myself of every line in a drawing saying, I should be better, this isn't my best, I'm not good enough.

Well here's the deal. I don't care anymore. Drawing is my talent in life, and I'm going to draw damnit, I don't need to be the best of the best.

MY GOAL: To accept who I am as an artist.

Thank you all for your support, especially my old time friends. You know who you are. It's time for me to start off new with a clean slate and a new goal in mind.

I know I haven't been around much- it's just that AP Art is killing my free time.
I get 3 assignments per 2 weeks, and it doesn't help that my teacher is picky as hell so she makes me redo them half the time....
Unfortunately, I chose a drawing (traditional) portfolio this year, though next year I well have 2-D (digital) so I'll be able to post my stuff here. C:

I plan on doing two poke'mon ginjika, though I won't tell you which poke'mon, they will be girls. I plan to have those done this weekend, then after that I have two original works I want to finish. Then I'll get to the realism stuff- Yes, I want to learn to paint realism digitally. ^^ ;

BUT BEFORE ALL THAT- I want to join the Pokedex Contest with my ginjika, though, since I have to do three AP projects before Wednesday... I'm going to ask for an extension. :l I have the sketch down and everything, I just need a bit more time for coloring. Not much time anyway, just like 2 days or so after the 10th.

Ah well, wish me luck with getting all this done. :/

In other news: I highly recommend the j-drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (check my wallpaper). I've been watching so much j-drama now a days. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e and Nodame Cantabile are two that I have watched completely, and I WILL watch more- hahaha.
