A clean slate.I decided today that I want to start drawing like I used to again. I want to pull out a little sketch and doodle everyday, no matter how it looks, no matter how much better I could have done, I will not throw it in the trash. I realized that what progressed me in art over the years was sketches. Those dumb little drawings I would make everyday for my amusement and for the amusement of my friends.
Back then, I had a drive to just draw, but now I'm caught up in being ashamed of my own shadow. For two years I've been constantly critique myself of every line in a drawing saying, I should be better, this isn't my best, I'm not good enough.
Well here's the deal. I don't care anymore. Drawing is my talent in life, and I'm going to draw damnit, I don't need to be the best of the best.
MY GOAL: To accept who I am as an artist.
Thank you all for your support, especially my old time friends. You know who you are.
